Mason Mount took aim at Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos after Chelsea defeated the Spanish giants 2-0 (3-1 on aggregate) to reach the final of the Champions League.
Mount, a Chelsea fan and a Chelsea academy boy, scored in the 85th minute to ensure that Chelsea would be meeting Manchester City in the Champions League final in Istanbul later this month.
It was a dream moment for Mount, whose rise to the summit of the game over the past two years has been quite remarkable.
The 22-year-old had to go on loan to Vitesse Arnhem and Derby County before earning a spot in the Chelsea squad, and now has to be considered the Blues’ most important player.

While the bulk of Mount’s plaudits are a result of his performances on the pitch, he’s also making a name for himself off of it. Have a look at how he took aim at Toni Kroos post-match.

Kroos is one of the greatest midfielders of his generation, so for Mount to be taking a cheeky dig at him in this manner is testament to the confidence of this young man.
