Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, who has been one of the surprise packages of the season.
Olise was drafted in from Reading over the summer for a cut-price £8m. He has gone on to be a key figure in the rejuvenation of Crystal Palace, led by Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira.
All due respect to Palace, it was only a matter of time before one of the big boys came sniffing around Olise, and it appears as though Manchester United are the first to have shown their hand.
According to Manchester Evening News, Olise’s red hot form has captured United’s imagination, with the Red Devils considering putting a bid in to sign him this summer.
Exactly how much United would have to pay to convince Crystal Palace to sell remains to be seen, but their hard stance over Wilfried Zaha has set the precedent from a sales perspective.
Man United have an uphill task to convince them to part ways with the youngster and you imagine they’d have to propose a CONSIDERABLE increase on the £8m they signed him for last year.
