Since rejoining United back in 2016, four years after departing their illustrious youth academy, the French World Cup winner has featured in 192 games and directly contributed to 72 goals, in all competitions.
Although Pogba is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world, there have always been questions marks over the Frenchman’s consistency.
Not only have fans been left baffled by the star’s inconsistent performances, they’ve also been enraged by his choice of representation.
The 27-year-old’s super-agent Mino Raiola, who is one of the world’s wealthiest football agents has continually had public spats with the Red Devils’ hierarchy.
Several public comments over the last few seasons have seen Raiola continually throw Pogba’s United future in doubt.
The agent’s latest headline hitting remarks came last year after he told Tuttosport that his star-client is ‘unhappy’ and ‘has no intention’ of signing a new deal.
Pogba currently has less than 18-months left on his deal and with United’s recent recruitment of former Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek, speculation that the Frenchman could move on is continuing to grow.
However, in a shocking turn of events, the latest in the ongoing saga comes from journalist Andy Mitten (relayed by the Mirror), who claims the World Cup winner is now ‘open’ to extending his Old Trafford stay.
