Are Chelsea ACTUALLY going to sign Manchester United captain Harry Maguire? Fabrizio Romano has provided the inside track.
Football fans were left stunned earlier in the week as it emerged that Chelsea were sniffing around England international defender Harry Maguire.
Chelsea have pursued many defensive targets this summer, so it remained to be seen exactly how serious their interest was in Man United’s skipper.
Fabrizio Romano has now provided some clarification, and it doesn’t look as though Maguire is high on Chelsea’s hit-list at this point in time.

It would be interesting to see if Chelsea made a move for Maguire if their proposed deal with Leicester City for Wesley Fofana were to collapse.
Maguire could certainly do with a change of scenery in order to inject some life into his career, which has stuttered and stumbled in recent times.
Thomas Tuchel has an excellent track record of improving defenders, so we’d be intrigued to see what he could do with the Red Devils’ fridge.
