Memphis Depay is itching for a move away from Ligue 1 side Lyon where he has been for 3 full seasons. He wanted to join fellow Dutchman Ronald Koeman in Barcelona during the summer but the transfer fell through.
Now the French side are afraid of losing the former United man on a free this summer so they have lowered his price for the January transfer window to get back some of the £14m they paid for him in 2017. Since joining Lyon he has played 154 matches racking up 62 goals and 47 assists in that time so you can see why Lyon wanted to hold onto the man from the Netherlands.
Do you think Memphis would be a good addition to Barcelona or should another club take the opportunity to sign the 26 year old with his price lowered so much. L’Equipe are reporting the lowering in price by Lyon but who could the French side possibly sign to replace Depay who has proven himself in front of goal?
