Liverpool have reportedly identified Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic as a potential replacement for the outgoing Sadio Mane.
Mane has achieved all that he could dream to achieve at Anfield, but all good things have to come to an end eventually.
With both his and Mohamed Salah’s contract expiring in 2023, there are no prizes for guessing which extension the club have prioritised.
Mane now appears set to depart Liverpool this summer, with Bayern Munich understood to be his most likely destination.
That will leave a hole in Jurgen Klopp’s squad which will need plugging this summer.
According to SPORTBILD’s Christian Falk, they have already identified his successor.

When Pulisic signed for Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund, many expected him to grow into Eden Hazard’s replacement.
Unfortunately for all involved, the U.S.A international has been unable to kick on from the promise he showed in his earlier years.
As a result, he has found himself rotated in and out of Thomas Tuchel’s side, just as he did towards the end of Frank Lampard’s tenure.
Pulisic could now feasibly leave Chelsea in search of first-team football, but it remains to be seen if the Blues would be prepared to sell to Liverpool…
