Leeds Rhinos are proving to the Rugby League and sporting world just how much you can achieve when you come together to support a friend in need.
Ex-Rhinos captain Kevin Sinfield is currently running 7 marathons in 7 days in for charity and to raise awareness for Motor Neuron Disease. As if 7 marathons in 7 days wasn’t good enough, he has pledged to complete every marathon in under 4 hours. Less than 25% of all people that have finished a marathon have finished it in under 4 hours.
People train for years to complete one marathon sub 4, let alone 7 in a row.
Kevin’s inspiration is former Leeds and England teammate Rob Burrow who currently suffers from Motor Neuron Disease. Rob played for Leeds for 16 years and was an incredibly famous number 7.
Their beginning aim was to raise £77,777, Kevin is currently on marathon 5 today and they have just passed the £500,000 marker. Absolutely amazing work.
THANK YOU 💙💛 We have passed the incredible £5⃣0⃣0⃣,0⃣0⃣0⃣ mark for @Rob7Burrow and @mndassoc
