🚨 Leading trainer pinpoints reason Tyson Fury lost to Oleksandr Usyk

Tyson Fury was defeated by the Ukrainian earlier in the year and in the process lost his WBC heavyweight title and undefeated record.

‘The Gypsy King’ started the fight well enough and even took over in the middle rounds before Oleksandr Usyk seemed to damage the Brit’s nose. Then in round nine he had Fury in all sorts of trouble with the man from Morecambe only just surviving that stanza.

To his credit Fury did manage to see the fight out losing a split-decision verdict from the judges at ringside.

But, speaking to Boxing King Media leading trainer Dominic Ingle gave his take on the fight and has highlighted the key reason the 36 year-old lost the contest.

He said: “Tyson Fury, he shouldn’t have got beat by Usyk because Tyson Fury at his best, and I don’t believe he was at his best, would have beaten Usyk.

“So, for me, he wasn’t fit enough. If you’re a lighter fighter like Usyk, that’s what you’ve got to do.”

The heavyweights clash again on December 21st in Saudi Arabia with Fury vowing to get revenge over his rival.
