Lazio fans have taken revenge on referee Piero Giacomelli in the most millennial way possible after the Italian official controversially sent off Ciro Immobile during Lazio’s 3-1 loss to Torino.
Giacomelli gave Immobile his marching orders in the 45th minute with the game at 0-0 at half-time. Unfortunately for Lazio though the numerical advantage Torino had was too much for Biancocelesti who went on to lose 3-1.
Disgusted by the result and putting full blame on the referee Lazio fans let their feelings about referee Piero Giacomelli be known by bombarding his café with negative ratings on TripAdvisor.
Fans began flooding Café Rossetti’s TripAdvisor page with negative reviews and have reduced it’s star rating to one star as a result.

Some of the reviews labeled the restaurant “a nightmare” warning potential customers to “stay far away from this café” while others made comments about Giacomelli’s performance, with one review titled “how to ruin an evening with incompetence.”
Despite their best efforts to seek revenge Lazio fans were devastated to hear that Giacomelli no longer works at or owns a stake in the restaurant.
