What a cracking game of hurling that was yesterday between two power houses of the game of hurling between both Kilkenny and Tipperary in the All-Ireland minor final at Nowlan Park in Kilkenny.
One user has taken to reddit though to call out the lack of supporter from the Kilkenny public, despite the match being held in their town/city ..
As a neutral who travelled to the minor All Ireland final today in Nowlan Park, I was amazed with the lack of Kilkenny support in comparison to Tipperary. Over the years I would have found KK would generally be one of the smaller supported counties at games whether it’s the seniors etc.
Not throwing any digs, have massive respect for Kilkenny hurling..but does anyone know why this is? It’s very rare to have home advantage for a All Ireland final but definitely felt like that advantage was out the window with support that was there. Is it a matter of being used to success and big days from those great teams from 06-2014 roughly?
