A kickboxer in Bangalore, India has sadly passed away after suffering a brutal KO during a fight.
As is reported by The Sun, Nikhil Suresh, who was just 23 years old, died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the ring.
An investigation has subsequently been launched into the organisers of the contest and whether it was their neglect which resulted in the young man’s death.
Suresh can be seen displaying limited technical ability and understanding of defence and resistance to counter as he comes forward.
His hands are low and never in a position to protect his head, which makes you wonder how he was allowed to compete against a fighter with KO power like that.
The video has been doing the rounds on social media as well as being shared by news outlets in India.
With Suresh’s father having made a complaint following his son’s death, the video is being used as supporting evidence that there was fatal neglect.
Even so, viewer discretion is advised. It’s a tough watch.
