Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas is housing 30 Ukrainian refugees in his mansion, according to the Daily Mail.
The Russian invasion of Ukraine has sparked a refugee crisis across Europe, with everyone being urged to play their part, should they have even so much as a spare bed in their house.
Keylor Navas, who contends with Gianluigi Donnarumma for minutes in goal for Paris Saint-Germain, has gone above and beyond the call of duty, as the Daily Mail report.
He and his wife have agreed to provide 30 Ukrainian refugees with shelter in their multi-million-pound mansion, as well as serving food and providing clothing.
Navas has set the benchmark for footballers across Europe. With the resources that they have, they absolutely ought to be helping those affected by the war in Ukraine in any way possible.
We hope that his and his wife’s extraordinary generosity will inspire others to follow suit. The people of Ukraine need all the help that they can possibly get.
