The All-Ireland winner and one of the best to ever play the game of hurling Joe Canning made his Sunday Game debut as a pundit yesterday and people were blown away with his analysis of the two hurling quarter-finals. The Sunday Game panel has come in for some heavy criticism lately for its pundits on the show.
But yesterday with Davy Fitzgerald, Anna Geary and Joe Canning, people were loving it. To think that Joe Canning is still on 33 years of age, wouldn’t it be great to see him still playing with the tribesmen. Could we see the Portumna club man back playing for his county next season?

Really enjoyed Joe Canning's analysis and punditry for today's All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Quarter Finals.
Every bit as good in the studio as he was on the pitch. pic.twitter.com/nHc8JtPnVf— Matt O'Callaghan (@MattOCall) June 18, 2022

It’s going to make for a great semi between Galway and Limerick.
