Jon Rahm was more than impressed after spending some time playing golf with Gareth Bale ahead of his debut.
The Welshman recently hung up his boots after an incredible and awe-inspiring career on the football pitch. Bale will go down as one of the greatest British players of all time after winning an astounding five Champions League titles with Real Madrid.
“After careful and thoughtful consideration, I announce my immediate retirement from club and international football.” he wrote.
“I feel incredibly fortunate to have realised my dream of playing the sport I love. It has truly given me some of the best moments of my life. The highest of highs over 17 seasons, that will be impossible to replicate, no matter what the next chapter has in store for me.”
But he will now turn his attention to another sport, one that he arguably loves more than football, golf. It is no surprise that the 33-year-old has made the transition to the sport, as he has spent more time on the golf course than on the football pitch in recent years.

According to world number three, John Rahm, the Welshman has more than impressed him during their recent fourball.
“I told Gareth, ‘you can’t be so good at professional football and golf at the same time, it just doesn’t seem fair’,” he said.
“You can’t be dedicated to one thing and have this much talent for golf, it’s not fair in the slightest.”
Do you think that he can go far in the world of golf?
