There are three former Irish rugby players set to sue the IRFU due to concussions they received while playing the game.

The first one is former Munster and Irish back-row Dave Corkery who played in the 1995 World Cup with the Irish team and the other two are Ben Marshall, a 32-year-old former flanker and lock, whose professional career ran for seven years up until 2017 with Leinster and Connacht, and ex-international Declan Fitzpatrick.

This is the question that keeps coming up each week, will the game of rugby survive? Each year it’s getting more and more physical and these type of cases aren’t a good look for the game.

It will be interesting to see how this story develops in the coming weeks and moths.. World rugby is in a very dangerous place..
