The franchise last launched a game in boxing in 2011 when Fight Night Champion was at the tips of fight fans controllers.

Since then EA have moved over to MMA and focused on the UFC franchise which is easier for them to license the fighters on their roster.

A new boxing game recently launched called Undisputed that features the likes of Canelo, Tyson Fury and bizarrely Eddie Hall.

The popularity of the game is said to have caught the attention of EA big wigs as they look set to return to the boxing market.
