Iain Henderson has said a lack of discipline was a critical factor was behind Ireland’s 10-16 defeat to Wales yesterday.
“We knew towards the end of the first half we had to salvage something, and we managed to do that…but we realised our discipline hadn’t been good enough,” he said.
However, he agreed discipline was still slack in the second half.
“It just wasn’t good enough by our standards…We just weren’t as disciplined as we should be,” he said.
He said a lot of the mistakes made would “hopefully” be put to bed in time for the England clash.
