🚨 Heavyweight contender claims he stopped Daniel Dubois in sparring

Martin Bakole has lifted the lid on sparring Daniel Dubois.

Dubois claimed the interim IBF heavyweight title when he defeated Filip Hrgovic in June but was then elevated to full champion when Oleksandr Usyk vacated the belt.

Next up he faces Anthony Joshua in a huge all British heavyweight clash at Wembley Stadium on September 21st.

Another contender in Martin Bakole often shares sparring storys and has now divulged of what went down between him and Dubois.

Speaking to IFL TV he said: β€œI broke his nose twice and stopped him,” Bakole said.

β€œThat’s not a lie because he will never come out and say I’m lying.

β€œJoe Joyce the same, the video I posted. I feel bad posting stuff like that because it can happen to me in sparring as well, but that is the only way I can sell myself.”

Bakole is heavily avoided in the division as he poses high risk but low reward for any fighter.

But this weekend he has his chance to shine when he takes on Jared Anderson in Los Angeles on the undercard of Terence Crawford vs. Israil Madrimov.
