Matchroom chief Eddie Hearn has branded the Jake Paul fight as “very dangerous” for fellow YouTuber KSI.
Ever since KSI defeated Jake’s brother Logan via a split decision, it has appeared that these two social media heavyweights have been on a collision course.
KSI deciding to take time out of the ring to focus on his music has stalled talks, but he is now set to return against Alex Wassabi, intensifying speculation the Paul fight could once again be on the horizon.
Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn, who promoted KSI vs Logan Paul back in 2019, has subsequently issued a warning to KSI over the proposition of fighting Jake Paul.
Eddie Hearn on Jake Paul vs KSI: “Jake is in a different category now, I don’t even class Jake as YouTube boxer anymore, I class him as a real boxer. KSI’s taken a couple of years out, he’s come back. That would be a very dangerous fight for KSI.” [@DAZNBoxing Show]

Paul has been training for longer than KSI and has more ring experience, but he didn’t look at all impressive in the five rounds prior to knocking out Tyron Woodley.
Against Hasim Rahman Jr, we ought to learn if Paul really can go toe-to-toe with actual boxers, or whether his party piece overhand right is merely a get out of jail card.
When KSI faces Alex Wassabi, we will also learn what progress he has made during his own time out of the ring. Remember, he HAS still been in training…
