Jack Grealish quite hilariously compared Riyad Mahrez’s performance against Aston Villa to Newcastle United’s Miguel Almiron.
A fair few videos have been doing the rounds on social media of Grealish absolutely off his nut at Manchester City’s Premier League title celebrations. Considering the season he’s endured, he’s well within his rights to enjoy himself.
However, you wonder if someone in the City hierarchy will be having a word with the England international once his hangover’s worn off, with Grealish having taken a quite unnecessary (but funny) dig at one of his Premier League counterparts.
While absolutely steaming and chatting to the camera with Bernardo Silva, Grealish revealed his belief that Riyad Mahrez had to be withdrawn from the field of play because he was playing like Newcastle’s Miguel Almiron.
You wonder if Almiron will have a two-footed challenge prepped for Grealish’s ankle when Man City and Newcastle next meet in the Premier League – because there was absolutely no need for this from the former Villa man!
