Germany are furious after being denied the right to train at Wembley ahead of their Euro 2020 clash with England, report Sky Sports.
Joachim Loew’s men will be paying England a visit at Wembley on Tuesday evening, with a view to reaching the quarter-finals of the Euro 2020 tournament.
With the Netherlands having been knocked out of the competition last night, the victor of this contest will be firm favourites to go all the way to the final.
It’s for that reason that Loew and co will be so angry to have been denied the opportunity to train at Wembley on the eve of the contest.
Sky Sports report that the German press have branded it a ‘scandal’, but UEFA insist that it is necessary to protect the pitch with heavy rain forecasted.
