Can’t blame the referee if players are being coached to carry the ball into traffic. It is poor refereeing in fairness, ball was touched on the ground a few times but can’t blame him for poor coaching
Refs are the untouchable species of gaa & esp at club level . They are thin on the ground and turn majority do a fantastic job but some are not fit for purpose at times . Can’t talk or question anything. That above is shocking
Go be a ref yerself then instead of posting a video and attacking referees on a widespread level. Everyone makes mistakes, if I was to put up a clip of your mistakes I’d be here till 2026
If this doesn’t turn kids off playing Gaelic Football, nothing will. Easy solution – max 2 players allowed to tackle a player at any one time.

I watched the game and the ref had a very refreshing style of doing the game. He let the players try and play football and also let the game flow As much as possible. To many games are spoiled with referees blowing for silly little things every twenty seconds. The ref in that game yesterday had a very good game in my opinion
