The North Cork player has had very little luck with injuries since captaining the Cork minors to All-Ireland glory in 2019 and while it’s a blow for Rebels boss John Cleary, it’s a seismic loss for Corbett’s club Clyda Rovers.

It’s terrible news for Cork football as the forward is now set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines. It’s the second time in just a few years that Corbett has suffered a cruciate injury having also picked it up back in July 2021 during the Munster U20 football championship final victory over Tipperary.
