The former Waterford forward Paul Flynn calls out the performance of Liam Gordon in today’s cracking game between Limerick and Clare at the Gaelic Grounds. It was a great game of hurling and it’s a tough game to referee, but in fairness, I don’t know how that late challenge wasn’t a free to Clare in the dying minutes of the game.
It looked like a clear shoulder into the face from the Limerick player on the Clare player.
You hate to be a referee, tough game to ref hurling and the abuse online is probably a bit too much nowadays but at the same time it has to be a free to Clare there at the end and it’s a shame we’re all talking about this..
