The Gaelic Athletic Association in Ireland is real tight nick community in Ireland and when one passes away the whole area feels it and sadly for this Galway club lost one of their Jack Lee this week.

Jack Lee died on Sunday 8 January 2023 at the age of 91 surrounded by his family and St. James’ GAA broke the heartbreaking news to its club members.

The club shared a lovely message on twitter that read; Rest in Peace Jack Lee father of St. James’ former player & coach Emmett Lee. Jack Lee, Aghacashel, Carrick-on-Shannon,Co Leitrim. Passed away peacefully, in his 92nd year, surrounded by his family, on 8th January 2023.
