Food at football grounds is a classic topic surrounding the beautiful game, with each club offering its own unique meals to supporters on a matchday and at Sheffield United, one of the worst bits of food was seen.
At Bramall Lane yesterday evening, the Blades beat Wrexham 3-1 to advance to the 5th Round of the FA Cup but it wasn’t the result that was the big story of the evening, but the state of the hotdogs served at the ground.
The popular Twitter account ‘Footy Scran‘ was sent the hotdog, which cost £5.50, by a user at halftime during the match and it got some stick from fans and rightly so.

Ketchup? No.
Barbecue sauce? No.
Onions? No.
Everything you’d want in a hot dog you didn’t get and the comments on the hotdog were deserved.
“Cooked on a radiator?“, “Is it supposed to be raw?” and “How much does it cost for it to be cooked?” were just a few questions that arose and with 2.1 million people viewing the hotdog tweet, you’d like to think that stall at Bramall Lane won’t be getting any customers in the future.
