Evander Holyfield made contact with KSIâs team for a potential fight.
The 61 year old retired 13 years ago but did take part in an exhibition bout with MMA star Vitor Belfort but it was disastrous for âThe Real Dealâ.
Holyfield was wobbled by the first meaningful shot he absorbed â and got knocked down with a left-hand moments later.
Belfort then rained shots down on him and although Holyfield covered up, he offered no replies of his own as the referee thankfully stopped the fight.

Despite this performance it appears that Holyfield isnât done with the sport yet and KSIâs manager Mams Taylor has explained why they werenât interested in taking on the boxing legend.
Speaking to talkSPORT he said: âI know Holyfield contacted us about fighting KSI.
âAgain, we wouldnât do that. It needs to be two evenly matched fighters at an even age.â
âIf it were Mike Tyson or Evander Holyfield, for all the money in the world, we wouldnât do that,â said Taylor.
âI think itâs ironic because the cornerstone of is on a higher moral ground than some parts of traditional boxing. We take care of the fighters and ensure the testing is good, which is why fighters pop [dirty]. We do it and do far more extensive medical testing before they are allowed to fight.â
âWe fight people who match together at similar levels; that is our ethos. I think there is something for everyone. But we have a moral outline, and we will try to stick to that regardless of the paycheck that comes our way.â
