England are a lot of people’s favourites for this tournament, but having watching them struggle to get past Serbia on Sunday night. It’s now clear that Gareth Southgate is not the right man to lead England to glory this summer.

If you look at Gareth Southgate’s past with England thus far .. He has certainly improved the moral and attitude in that English group, for years it seemed that none of the English players enjoyed playing for the national team and club rivalries were never put aside when in camp.

Southgate knows this is the end and anything less than England going all the way in this tournament will not be good enough for the English supporters.
Will England do it? Will they finally end 58 years of hurt at major international tournaments? They certainly have the quality in their ranks, but I doubt they have the right man tactically in leading the Three Lions.
