It’s safe to say Eddie Hearn in not a fan of Ben Shalom.

The Matchroom promoter recently ended a bitter feud with Frank Warren thanks to Turki Alalshikh and a wad load of cash.

But, one man that is not going to be on Hearn’s Christmas card list is Boxxer’s Ben Shalom.

Hearn and Shalom had an exchange on stage during the Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois undercard press conference face-offs in which Hearn told Shalom he would “knock him out”…

Shalom speaking to IFL TV gave his side of the argument: “He said he was gonna knock me out. I thought he wasn’t rattled? I said as a joke, ‘I didn’t realise this was your fight,’ during Joshua Buatsi’s face-off. It was literally a joke. But yeah he wasn’t too happy… To be threatened to be knocked out by a guy who’s nearly 50 was an interesting one.” .

Hearn gave his version of events and claimed Shalom was scared: “It was a joke really. He said, ‘What are you doing in this picture?’ I said, ‘I’ll knock you out.’ I felt bad because he froze like a ghost and now he’s doing all these interviews saying he got threatened… He said he was joking, so was I. I spoke to lost and found and asked if anyone finds his a***hole to let us know.”

Hearn later claimed that Shalom has requested videos to be taken down of some of his interviews.

Frank Warren is unsurprisingly siding with his new best friend.
