Oleksandr Usyk made history by becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999 when Lennox Lewis achieved the feat.
The Ukrainian was tested by Tyson Fury in the first half of the fight before roaring back to claim a win via split-decision.
In the process he gained ‘The Gypsy King’s’ WBC strap to add to his own WBA, IBF and WBO titles to complete the heavyweight collection.

One eagle eyed fan has spotted something very interesting in the corner from team Usyk after round seven.
The Ukrainian is a devout Christian and can be seen kissing the crucifix after his team had asked him if he wanted it.
You can watch the video below:
🇺🇦 You won’t pick up on it if you don’t know the language but the coach asked if @usykaa “wanted the crucifix” after RD 7. Usyk said yes, kissed the crucifix, and went on to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
