Derek Chisora returned to action this weekend.
The British heavyweight beat Joe Joyce at the O2 on Saturday night in what was his 48th outing as a professional.
He has taken on most of the biggest names in the division from the likes of David Haye, Vitali Klitschko and Tyson Fury but he had a surprising answer to who is the hardest hitter he faced in his long career.
“You remember this guy, Paul Butlin. He hit me so hard I thought the referee needed to check his gloves,” he said when speaking to talkSPORT.
“I will never forget when he went boom, boom. And I’m like ‘God man, somebody needs to check this guy’s gloves’.
“I went back to the corner and Don [Charles] (Chisora’s former trainer) told me you need to move, you can’t stand there.
“The guy was strong and he hit me with a body shot and I was like ‘Nah, I need to box this guy’.”

He faced Butlin twice in career in 2008 and 2009 with Chisora winning both bouts by decision.
Butlin finished his career with a record of 16 wins 24 losses and 1 draw and faced Anthony Joshua in 2013.
I was expecting it to name Fury, him of dodgy gloves fame.
