The former Clare manager and now new Waterford manager, heading into his second stint with the Deise county, Davy Fitzgerald is bringing with him one his Ireland’s fittest family members with him.
Donnacha O’Callaghan the former Munster, Ireland and Lions lock will head to the south east to help Waterford in their chances of lifting the Liam McCarthy cup next summer.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen this, Denis Leamy was involved with Tipperary, Dough Howlett Cork and Gordon Darcy Wexford. Good luck to the former Clare goalkeeper, it’s a good Waterford team and he’ll have them primed and ready to go come the start of the Championship. It’s going to make for a cracking hurling Championship next summer and we can’t wait for it.
