🚨 Dana White got into a heated argument with reporter over UFC pound-for-pound debate

Dana White has a clear favourite for his pound-for-pound number one fighter.

Alex Pereira knocked out Jiri Procházka at the weekend to continue his stunning run in the UFC.

Some fans and pundits believe he is the number one fighter on the planet but Dana White clearly disagrees with that idea.

At the post fight press conference the UFC president passionately defended Jon Jones.

He said: “People aren’t giving Jon Jones the respect for pound-for-pound. This f****** guy destroyed the best heavyweight in the division, easily made it look like nothing.

“Jon Jones is pound-for-pound the best fighter in the world and the greatest fighter ever. Period. End of story.”

“It’s not like he was just f****** sitting around and doesn’t want to fight, it’s the first injury he’s ever had.”

“I’m not defending Jon Jones, Jon Jones has been one of my biggest f****** headaches in the entire time I’ve been in this company.

“No matter what you think of Jon Jones, he’s the f****** best ever and he’s the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world.

“As an educated adult who knows the fight business, you cannot deny that while Jon Jones is active, he is the greatest fighter in the world. I don’t even know how we are in this conversation!”

Jones was scheduled to fight former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic in November 2023 but suffered a pectoral injury that has ruled him out for some time.

Is Jon Jones still the pound-for-pound best? Let us know in the comments.
