(Photos) Chelsea’s home shirt for 2022/23 season LEAKED online

Chelsea’s new home kit for the 2022/23 campaign has reportedly been LEAKED online.

The Boehly/Clearlake purchase of Chelsea from Roman Abramovich is to formally be announced on Monday, meaning that the Blues will certainly be competing in both the Premier League and Champions League next season – as if it was ever in doubt.

While you’d expect a busy, statement summer from the club’s new owners, so we can’t exactly foresee what the Chelsea team will look like next year, we have been given a clear idea of the kit they’ll be wearing out on the pitch, at least.

The Blues’ Nike-designed 2022/23 home kit has been leaked on social media – and in truth, beyond the toothpaste collar, there’s not a great deal of detail for us to discuss. It’s blue…

Chelsea fans will be hoping that this is the kit they’ll remember as they look back at photos of trophy triumphs. Thomas Tuchel has an extraordinary record of reaching finals since joining the club – his success in those finals is a mixed bag.

Perhaps with new faces drafted into the squad, donning this new home shirt, Chelsea will be able to bridge the gap between themselves, Manchester City and Liverpool. Ultimately, only time will tell if Tuchel’s the man to do that.
