Chelsea legend Paul Canoville has argued that Dan James should be ARRESTED for his horror challenge on Mateo Kovacic.
James was shown a straight red card by referee Anthony Taylor as a consequence of planting his studs high on the leg of Kovacic and leaving the Croatian unable to continue in the contest.
James could have absolutely no arguments about the decision to send him for an early bath, with it being one of the worst challenges that we have seen in the Premier League this season.

It’s likely just hyperbole, especially with avid Chelsea fan Canoville no doubt furious to watch Kovacic hobble off in the week of the FA Cup final. It would be a first, though, were he to end up behind bars…
