It has been announced that non-league Wrexham will face Chelsea and Manchester United during a preseason tour in 2023/24.
The Welsh side, who are owned by actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, sit 2nd in the National League with two games in hand on table toppers Notts County and its now been announced that the club will face two Premier League giants in a tour of America in preparation for the 2023/24 season.

According to the Telegraph, Wrexham are expected to face Chelsea in North Carolina in July, with Erik ten Hag’s Reds invited to play Phil Parkinson’s team a week later in San Diego.

Wrexham’s desire to face two of the biggest teams in England highlights the desire that Reynolds and McElhenney have to mix with the big boys within the game and if the club were to beat either of them in the summer, it could put them on the map for good.
