The former Tipperary goalkeeper is still hurling for his club Ballybacon Grange in Tipperary and it’s great to see as the 47 year old saved the day over the weekend by scoring a last minute free inside his own half to save the club from regulation.

Ballybacon/Grange defeated Ballinahinch 2-14 to 0-19 in their Tipperary Intermediate Hurling Championship relegation semi-final on Saturday.
How great is to see one of the best goalkeepers to ever play the game, still togging out for his club. It looks like moving the inter county season back and the club forward thus far, has been a massive success, with Gaelic action going on while the weather is still good, instead of in the much and the rain. Fair play to the GAA..?
