Antonio Conte has admitted that he returned too early after undergoing gallbladder surgery.
The Tottenham boss underwent an operation to remove his gallbladder weeks ago which saw him miss his side’s win against Manchester City.
Despite having a serious operation, Conte returned to the sideline but has now admitted that it was a mistake to return so early.

After Spurs’ Champions League loss to AC Milan, the Italian manager chose to stay in Italy where he will rest for a few weeks.
Conte explained his decision in an Instagram post.
‘My great sense of responsibility towards the club, the players, the staff and the fans brought me to anticipate my comeback on field. Sadly I underestimated the procedure, which wasn’t a routine operation, but a sudden and serious emergency.
‘My body has suffered my impatience, and now I am forced to stop until my entire recovery. Who knows me, understands what a burden this is for me, but it is necessary. Come On You SPURS!’
It is not yet known when he will return to England but it’s hard to imagine that he will voluntarily miss the upcoming Chelsea game.
