The former New Zealand and Blues Centre Sonny Bill Williams was on Stan Sports this week looking ahead to the Bledisloe Cup this weekend between both Australia and New Zealand.

The former inside centre has called for the Aussie and the Kiwis to scrap the rule blocking some players playing for their countries.

That’s the difference between SA and Aus/NZ. SA has fully accepted and embraced pro players. By picking overseas based players and mixing them with young local based players we are developing crazy depth. SA can field 3 full Bok teams who will compete against any team.

Smith is going to be 36 in a few months. He served NZ well so let him earn the cash. maybe the other 2 but I’d rather take the losses and build for the RWC.
