At the moment the ABs are completely rebuilding and im excited for what’s to come in the next few years. Almost knocking off the number 1 team in the world during this early stage of the ABs. Everyone should be scared
I wouldn’t say scared but I agree with what you say. You’ll get shit for this post but I agree – and I am a Safa. They ran us close and even though we are also bleeding new players and introducing a new style, it was in SA. That said, this Springbok team somehow just doesn’t lie down and the Irish have some great youngsters coming through too. The next few years is going to be so damn interesting to see these team take each other head on and none of them will lie down easily.
Calling it a “complete rebuild” is quite a stretch when you still have players like taylor, lomax, barrett x3, savea, cane, ioane, perenara, mckenzie, ALB, Jordan etc.

Of course, we’re going to get better.
The thing is, all the other teams will back themselves to get better, too. Time will tell how it’s all going to play out, but I can’t see too much changing in terms of who the top 5 nations are.
Perhaps the order might change slightly but there really isn’t much between them currently tbh.
