Mohammed Kudus was one of the stars of Ghana’s impressive group stage performances as the Black Stars got fans off their feet at their first World Cup since 2014.
Kudus was tipped as a man to look out for before the tournament began and despite registering just one goal in the competition as Ghana exited at the group stages, the young talent showed just why so many teams are interested in securing his signature.
What a game! 🤩

The 22-year old joined Ajax from Danish side Nordsjælland in 2020 and has scored 15 times in 63 matches for the Dutch champions, who will likely demand a hefty fee for their player.
Kudus represented Ghana at Under 17 and U20 level before being called up to the senior side in 2019, for whom he has scored seven goals in 21 games.
Now, David Ornstein is reporting that Kudus wants to leave Ajax in January, with teams from the Premier League, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 monitoring his situation.

Ornstein also says that the Premier League is the youngster’s preferred destination and wherever he goes, the midfield is where he wants to play.
Premier League teams like Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United already have plenty of midfielders so it will be interesting to which of them, if any at all, go in for Kudus or whether he will have to settle for a move away from England.
