2 Manchester City Stars Test Positive For Covid-19

The BBC are reporting that 2 of Pep’s Manchester City stars have tested positive for Covid-19 along with 2 members of staff.

Kyle Walker and Gabriel Jesus will be self isolating after testing positive. Walker has been a stalwart in Pep’s side, playing a majority of the games with Gabriel Jesus being first choice striker with Aguero out with injury.

Man City will be without their 2 players for their game against Newcastle today at 8pm. They will also be unavailable for selection on the 28th for the match against Everton and the 3rd of January 2021 against Chelsea.

City will now be without a starting striker unless Pep wants to risk an early return of Sergio Aguero. Raheem Sterling could feature up front for City today with the Spaniard possibly wanting to rest Sergio ahead of their clash with Chelsea at the start of the year. How do you think his side will line up tonight?
