Ian Machado Garry faced Michael ‘Venom’ Page at UFC 303 tonight.
The Irishman put his undefeated record (14-0) on the line against Page.
Page was making just his second appearance in the organisation after his move from Bellator.
In the first round the Irishman caught an ‘MVP’ kick and took him down. He then took his back and looked very close to choking out Page but he survived.
In the second round Page stung Garry with a right hand before ‘The Future’ tied him up in a clinch against the Cage much to the frustration of the fight fans in attendance. At the end of the round Page landed another hard right hand.
In the third and final round Garry took Page’s back again but overall the fight failed to catch alight.
The judges scored the fight 29-28 to Garry who remains undefeated.
