Andre Ward has shared his thoughts on the upcoming bout between Nate Diaz and Jake Paul.
The MMA veteran will be making his pro boxing debut when he faces the YouTuber turned boxer.
And recently footage emerged of Diaz in training leaving fans concerned at his chances of a win.

But Andre Ward has leapt to the defence of his former sparring partner.
Speaking to the MMA hour he said,
“People look at that mitt session that they had and they just misread the play. Those type of shots, they don’t look pretty, but they keep coming.
“They keep coming from different angles and he’s got some miles on him. He’s been around a long time.
Ward also highlighted the danger Diaz faces in the fight.
He continued,
“He has to show that he can take the shot from Jake because Jake has a natural right hand, it’s got power on it. If he can take the right hand from Jake, it’s gonna be a tougher fight than people realise, man, because Nate’s going to keep coming.”
