The GAA president Larry Mccarthy had a bit of a mare today when presenting the trophy to Fossa captain Paudie Clifford. The Kerry team became the All-Ireland junior football champions after beating Tyrone side Stewartstown Harp GAA.
Larry McCarthy struggled to get the name of the Fossa captain right when he called him Paudie Fitzgerald, instead of Paudie Clifford, not sure how he made that mistake when those two brothers are probably the most famous in the GAA at present. But I suppose his only human at the end of the day, see it below…

This guy really is so far removed. Screwed up on limerick last year. He preaches all about the players but not to even recognise let alone learn Paudie’s name is Beyond belief!!

This had a good response online as you can image, talk about a disaster for the GAA president who hails from Bishopstown in Cork City.
