🚨Steve Borthwick set to make a big call on Owen Farrell for Ireland game🏉

Posted by

Steve Borthwick is set to hand Owen Farrell his No 10 jersey for England’s clash with Ireland this weekend.

The captain was dropped for his side’s humiliating defeat to France last weekend, with Marcus Smith starting in the 53-10 defeat. Farrell did make an appearance off the bench early in the second half but was unable to turn the tide.

But as England head into their final Six Nations game against Ireland this weekend, Borthwick is set to hand Farrell his starting spot again, as per Mail Online Sport.

Borthwick is also set to recall both Manu TulManu Tuilagi and Henry Slade for the game in Dublin.

  1. I am very nervous about this team. Steve B has been put in a terrible position and if he recovers England to winning ways he deserves a knighthood ! I am with him all the way but I really do not envy him at all. But first thing is to steady the team and I hope they do that.

  2. It’s time England realised how poor they are. Drop the lot, start again from scratch, OK they will loose to start but rebuild for next world cup. They did it to win the 2003 World Cup.

    1. Luckily he can do that after this final 6 Nations game, but unfortunately he’s tied to EJ’s selection for now.
