Manchester United’s Twitter account brutally trolled Pep Guardiola after the Spanish manager revealed his disappointment that Julia Roberts visited his rivals over him.
Manchester City ruthlessly dispatched RB Leipzig in the second leg of their Champions League game on Tuesday night, winning 7-0 with Erling Haaland scoring a jaw-dropping five goals.
After the demolition, Guardiola gave a hilarious interview, revealing that his three idols are Micheal Jordan, Tiger Woods and surprisingly Julia Roberts. He then went on to admit that no matter what he achieves he would be viewed as a failure after Roberts chose to visit United instead of City.
“Julia Roberts went to see Man Utd, not us!” 😢
Even three consecutive Champions League titles won’t take away Pep’s pain of knowing his idol chose the red half of Manchester 😆🤣 #UCL pic.twitter.com/vwmWNzdfao

“I am a failure in the Champions League,” he said.
“If we win the Champions League three times in a row, I will be a failure.
“I have three idols in my life. Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods and Julia Roberts. These are my three idols.
“Julia Roberts years ago came to Manchester — not in the ‘90s when Sir Alex [Ferguson] was winning titles and titles and titles. She came in the period where we were better than United, in these four or five years, right?”
The Manchester United Twitter account then trolled Guardiola by posting pictures of the American actress at Old Trafford.
