Van Dijk has been out for over six weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in the 3-1 defeat to Brentford at the start of last month. His absence has felt along with the other long list of players who have been on and off the physio table throughout the season.
Speaking ahead of the game, Klopp revealed that he ‘looks absolutely ready’.

‘I think so,’ The German manager replied after being asked about the defender’s potential return.
‘Yesterday (in training), he looked absolutely ready.
‘Same squad as Monday night. Ibou (Konate) not yet, Luis (Diaz) not yet. But that’s it pretty much,
‘Nothing happened on the injury side. Thiago out. Calvin (Ramsay) had surgery, not available.’
