In one of the most surreal moments of the year, Brendan Rodgers presented Pope Francis with a signed Celtic jersey on Tuesday.
The Hoops travelled to Rome to play Lazio in their must-win Champions League group stage game, but unfortunately, they walked away 2-0 losers.
For the second year in a row, the Scottish club have failed to reach the knockout stages of the tournament.
However, Rodgers and his side did get the opportunity to visit Pope Francis earlier in the day and present him with a signed jersey with his name on the back of it.
The club also presented him with a silver cross as the former Liverpool manager posed for a picture.
As expected, the video has gone viral online with social media users sharing their opinions.
bit rude of the Pope not to even get up when he’s been given the chance to meet Brendan Rodgers pic.twitter.com/bfdJBPOBVI
