Chelsea could make a last-ditch effort to sign one of their long-term targets before the window slams shut on Tuesday.

Considering that they have already spent almost £500m on the side since the summer, missing out on Europe will be bitterly disappointing.
In order to avoid this, Todd Boehly is planning on writing one last check before the end of the January window.
According to reports, Chelsea is preparing a €100m plus player bid for Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez. The Blues attempted to secure his signature at the start of the month but the Portuguese club insisted he was not for sale for anything below £120m.
